Welcome to my class!

Welcome to Grade 6! I’m Ms. Sarah, and I am so excited to be part of our Amo Ososwan school community this year. Outside of the classroom, you can find me hiking, painting, or planning next week’s science experiments! Back in the classroom, my mission is to create a supportive, dynamic community where students feel inspired to get involved, ask big questions, and grow academically, emotionally, and socially. This year, our hands-on learning will take us from exploring biodiversity, flight, and electricity to diving into coding and discovering Communities in Canada past and present. As Benjamin Franklin once said, “Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.” I am looking forward to an incredible year of learning, discovery, and partnership with our Grade 6 students and families!
